Theme: Reigons
Me and my bunkmates woke up and went downstairs to platters of bacon, eggs, and blueberry muffins. Then, after getting our hiking boots and sketchbooks, we went on the trail and began to hike. We saw a course with a lot of maple trees and things that are found at a lower elevation. First we scrambled up the first half of Mt. Firescrew until we reached a good place to have lunch with a great view of windmills. We had taken lots of sketches about the shroom, or chicken of the forest. After that, we hiked up the rest of the fire crew. We enter a zone full of pine trees because of the altitude which is an example of a region. That part had a lot of false summits that were getting us discouraged, and when we reached the top we felt a huge sense of accomplishment. Then we became the only group to hit the summit of Cardigans and celebrated with Oreos and cheese-its. After that, we went down the summit to the lodge, we played football then we got tired and we came in and then I played the guitar in the common room. Then we had dinner and came outside, where we relaxed and then watched the stars come out. It was a very tiring day.
